Write to loqqty0525@gmail.com and you will get a reply from the person who built the app. Say which iPhone you are on and what you were doing when it went wrong, and it will be fixed faster.

If something hurts, see a physician or a physiotherapist. Stance gives an opinion from a photo, not a diagnosis, and support cannot answer medical questions.

The app says to retake the photo

The scan needs your whole body from the side, standing naturally, with enough light to see your outline. The message on the retake screen is written for your specific photo, so read it before shooting again. The most common causes are standing at an angle rather than square to the side, being cropped at the head or feet, and a background too dark to separate you from.

You can use a photo from your library instead of the camera. Tap Use Photo Instead on the camera screen.

My score changed and I did nothing differently

Stance reads a photograph, so how you stood, where the camera was and how the room was lit all move the number. That is why a rescan asks you to stand the same way and fades your last photo over the camera to line up against. Match the framing and the comparison means something.

Managing your subscription

Subscriptions are billed by Apple, not by us, so they are cancelled in your Apple account rather than in the app. Open Profile in Stance and tap Manage subscription, or go to Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions. Cancelling stops the next renewal and you keep access until the period you already paid for runs out.

Already paid on another device, or reinstalled the app? Open Profile and tap Restore purchases.

Refunds are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com. We cannot issue them.

Deleting your photos and scores

Your scan photos and scores are stored on your iPhone, not on our servers. Open Profile and tap Delete my scans to remove every one of them, or delete the app, which removes them with it. Neither cancels your subscription.

The full picture of what is handled and where it goes is in the Privacy Policy.

Nothing happens when I take a photo

The scan is analysed on a server, so it needs a working connection. If the app says the analysis is unavailable, try again on a different network. If it keeps failing, email the address above and say roughly when you tried, which makes it findable in the logs.

Requests and bugs

Both go to the same address. Feature requests are read, and the ones that arrive more than once tend to get built.
